                  A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF CONTRACT
                  NO. RP-3-94, TENNESSEE RIVERPARK PHASE VI-C5,
                  BLUFF FURNACE ARCHAEOLOGICAL, MODEL,
                  INTERPRETIVE SCULPTURE, AND SIGNAGE, TO APCO,
                  INC., AT A PRICE NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED
                  SIXTY-SEVEN THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS
                  ($167,500.00), AND AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF
                  GRANTS MORE FULLY DESCRIBED HEREIN TO BE USED
                  AS PARTIAL FUNDING FOR SAID PHASE VI-C5.
                 
                 
                                                    
                 
                 
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       award of Contract No. RP-3-94, Tennessee Riverpark Phase VI-C5,
       Bluff Furnace Archaeological, Model, Interpretive Sculpture, and
       Signage, to Apco, Inc., at a price not to exceed $167,500.00; and
       	    	 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the following described
       grants, to be used as partial funding for said Phase VI-C5, be 
and
       are hereby accepted:
            Lyndhurst Foundation Riverpark Expansion
            	 Challenge Grant     	       	    	 $ 25,000.00
           
            Hamilton County Government	       	    	 $ 12,500.00
           
            Walnut Street Committee  	       	    	 $ 12,500.00
